Musicians

Serena Wadham was born into a middle class family, and initially studied at the Conservatoire de musique, Geneva, aged 16.  She attended the Royal Academy of Music in 1951, but a serious, almost fatal motorbike accident forced Serena to abandon her intended musical carreer: subsequently she worked as a drawing office junior, garage hand, van driver etc.  In 1963 Serena trained with the Black Star agency in London as a photojournalist. In spite of her accident Serena never lost her passion for both music and motorcycles.
