Caroline Nicholson was the Great Aunt of Caldwell.
She was born in Lincolnshire in 1823, the daughter of John and Sussana Nicholson.
She married James Edward Fraser in 1844 at Glamford Brigg, Lincolnshire.
Caroline died at Lowestoft in 1892.
