St Ives Lifeboat wrecked at Godrevy, 1939
Identical from R Album for Penlee Exhibition
The Newlyn crew standing behind the Elizabeth and Blanche lifeboat, just under the Fishermans Arms Pub in Fore Street before the cliff was built up around 1911.
The lifeboat was based at Newlyn between 1909 and 1913. In 1913 it was relocated to the new slip and boathouse at Penlee Point near Mousehole.
