Description
The grave of the 23 men lost from the Liverpool ship 'Khyber' in 1905. The bronze memorial plate is located in St Levan church yard, underneath the tower on the left of the main door.
The plate reads:
In Memoriam
Captain Henry Rotary and crew of the Liverpool ship "KHYBER" wrecked at Porthloe Cove during a great storm on the 15th March 1905. Of 26 men all told 23 were lost some of whose remains were washed ashore and here interred.
