Description
Two men pictured fishing for mackerel with long rods. The fishing rock picture here in the 1920s (note long rods and browse-can) is one of several situated at the foot of granite headland. Getting onto it entails climbing approximately 200 feet to sea level and climbing back again (with a sack containing 100 mackerel on a good evening!). The homeward trek was invariably in darkness.
