Description
Underwater photograph of deep-sea divers adjusting tow line on sea low. The low, designed by Bell Telephone Laboratories to bury undersea telephone cable below the ocean floor, was used by American Telephone and Telegraph Company's Long Lines Department to bury the shore-end sections of two transatlantic cables off the coast of New Jersey.
