Description
Drawing of the 80" Cornish Engine that was installed at Batten's Shaft at West Chiverton Lead Mine near Zelah in the 1860's. The mine finished in 1886, the engine was moved to Garland's Shaft at Gwennap United mine c. 1899: finally to Woolf's Shaft at Great Condurrow in 1906. Destroyed 1916.
