Situated at the Norad corner of at the bottom of Trewarveneth Street, Newlyn Town.
The fisherman is Tom Cotton, born 'outlong' at Primrose Terrace 1865.
The nets were of Egyptian cotton with cork floats on the headline, at a time when the men support;ied and carried their own nets . The old man was John Hicks Worth 1830-1918.
The street cobbles are gone but the large base stones can still be seen.
