Subject

Here stretched the foreshore long before the buildings and pier were built. Street-an-Nowan was known as The Oxway, re: Ben Batten's Newlyn book.
The central cottages were all demolished and the site was cleared for the current car park. The street to the left is Jack Lane; far right is the junction with Chywoone Hill and Newlyn Coombe.
