Subject

Bridge in foreground is the Medieval Bridge; in background is the Old Bridge. The block of houses on left is Florence Place. The blacksmith's shop is behind the pole and was owned by Howard Rowe in the 1930's-50's. Area prone to flooding. Two large rocks placed on the Medieval Bridge allowed pedestrians to cross but discouraged traffic.
