Dolly and Jack were born at the Townshend House. The cart on the right is in front of Herbert Wynne's the Blacksmith's house.

The Sand man used to come over from Hayle to Little Water near Townshend ,about 4 miles. He and his donkeys carried sand which he sold by the bucket for sprinkling on kitchen floors.
