Rowing boats bringing fish from luggers to offload onto beach

A photograph copying two photographs. One appears to be fishing boats in Newlyn, and the other a group of four men and two women outside the Dolphin Tavern in Penzance. The women are carrying baskets, possibly for the selling of fish.

Identifiable boats: PH 340, PZ 216, PZ 491

These became Minesweepers druing both World Wars trawling for mines and sweeping the English Channel clear for larger ships.

Boats identified: Two Boys, Madeline, Penzance PZ 302. The ice works and fish market are clearly visible.
