Caldwell's great Uncle. He was born in Wrawby, Lincolnshire in 1832 to John and Susanna Nicholson.
He became a curate and in 1852 married Emily Hill in Cheshire. They had 11 children.
He died in Suffolk in 1872 aged 45.

He was born in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, the son of Alexander Fraser and Hannah.
He was a solicitor and died in Ipswich in 1901.
