Dudley Savage, Organist

Dudley Savage (1920-2008) was a well-known organist. He was born in Gulval and became one of the youngest cinema organists the 1930s, playing at the Ritz, Penzance before moving to Plymouth in the late 1930s. The 1936 Compton Electron organ was the only cinema organ in Cornwall, it would rise up from the basement in the interval.
