Wreck of "DL Harper", en route from Venezuela to Hamburg, mountted Mulvin Rock (Crane Rocks, Caertillion Cove. First off were 5 passengers including mother and baby. Lifeboat lifted 38 crew the next morning. Ship was repaired and was sailing till 1960.
At the time this was the largest ship in the world.
