Hablot John Moxon Browne, Caldwells 1st cousin, was the eldest son of Edgar Athelstone Browne and Alice Dominica Browne. He was born in Liverpool in 1869, and was a grandson of "Phiz".
He became a physician and surgeon.
He married Millicent Raban Higgins in 1904. She died the following year. They had one son born in 1905, Hablot Robert Edgar Browne.
In 1923 Hablot married Dora Margaret Lucy Biddulph. She died in 1927.
He died in 1953 aged 84.
