Caroline Susan Fraser, Caldwell's 1st cousin once removed, was born in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire in 1846 to James Edward Fraser and Caroline Nicholson.
She married James Bolomey Matthews, a vicar, on 13 June, 1872. They did not have any children.
She died on 6 May 1926, aged 80.
The baby she is holding is her sister Gertrude Hannah. She was born in 1865 in Lowestoft.
She never married, and died in Felixtowe on 17th Oct 1957, aged 92.
