Laregan and Bodilly's Mill Penzance Promenade

View of Penzance Promenade taken from the western end. Note the boat pulled up on the sandy beach and the nets laid out to dry on the sand. (See also NA.066 for view fro the eastern side).

A view of the Promenade, taken looking eastward. On the right are the Public Baths, situated opposite the bottom of Cornwall Terrace. The Queen's Hotel can be seen on the left. Note the 'look out' tower on the top.

Alfred was also a grocer, he took over from his father's business in London. He was married to Jane and they called their house in Surrey. Goldsithney.

Samuel Thomas Turner OBE worked for Sir John Wolfe Barry. Samuel was chief engineer building Tower Bridge London, Blackfriars Bridge, Peoples Palace Glasgow.
