Only known photo of Groyne later demolished. Original Lighthouse to right of Pier. Groyne on end of Albert Pier gave shelter but caused sandbank etc outside. One of the boats is "Lyonesse".

The vessel is the Leon Bureau, a three masted sailing Schooner in Penzance floating dock.

The Schooner Leon Bureau of Nantes was carrying 2,600 tons of wheat from Adelaide to Falmouth.
