Description
Logan Rock Refreshment House. Situated along the path leading to the famous rock. a minerals (then called "pop"), fruit, postcards, etc. Note the sign giving prominence to TEMPERANCE HOUSE. It is understood that Mr Jacka, the owner, was a great temperance advocate. The influence of John Wesley was still to be reckoned with in west Cornwall in the early part of the 20th century.
