Light cruiser R.N. Diomedes having seen considerable Service between 1939-1945 whilst on the way to the scrap yard had drifted onto a reef off Larrigan beach Penzance whilst sheltering in the Bay. 08.05.1946.. refloated and continued journey to Clyde for scrapping , Information in the packet.
