A postcard from Fred Phillips' war album, assembled from postcards and photos he collected during his service in Palestine and Egypt during WW1.
On the back it says:
"I have been to this place a good many times yesterday Sunday I rode over these tram lines.
You can see the snow? covered hills at the back of the picture.
It looks a very nice place by this postcard but if you seen it in reality you would say different xx"
Under this is says:
"We are camped very close to where I have put a cross *"
You can see the blue cross on the front of the postcard near the top.
