Postcard depicting an illustration of nuns of Rheims Cathedral caring for soldiers during a WW1 bombardment in September 1914. It is addressed to Master Glyn Richards, Pontlottyn, Wales and postmarked Aylesbury. Date-stamped 8AM 10 JY 15.
It reads as follows:
"Dear Glyn + Mama
just a line hoping you are both well as it leaves me getting on alright.
Dear Lottie I had your letter alright & I received your other letter this morning
I see you was ?? yourself because I never had it I expect it was delayed a bit .
hope you enjoyed yourself at the school treat
I expect we have cross from this time ?red Day?
give my love to all
kiss Glyn for me & good bye for time
from loving husband & Dada & Fred xxxxxx"
