It reads as follows:
"Kerris Vean
Dear Lottie & Fred
Just a line in answer to your P.C. which we were very glad to get
Hope you are both well as it leaves us at present
Mother is still very ill I don't expect she will ever come any better
Me and Jack was Home last Sunday left the children with Mother
it was very rough weather
we have had some dreadful storms
well my old dears Hope to hear from you again soon
Jack sends his love to you both
same from myself
Children send kisses to Auntie and Uncle
from Jack and Eva xxx
wishing you both a very Happy Xmas"
