Florence Maud Turner nee Dennis. 1862 -1951. She was the daughter of Charles and Mary Dennis, she was a London grocer who retired to Perranuthnoe circa 1885 and lived at Bungalow House on the cross roads now the Chinese restaurant.
Florence’s mother Mary was born near Exeter.
Florence married Samuel Thomas Turner OBE.
He was chief engineer for the construction of Tower Bridge amongst other things.
He retired to Marazion in 1920 and almost certainly took this photo .

Melinda May Turner nee Rudd 1893-1977 married Stanley Linscott Turner (son of Samuel and Florence( 1895-1977)in 1916.
In the early 1920s they ran the Godolphin Hotel in Marazion until 1946, moving to run Tyacks Hotel, Camborne after WW11. and later the Bucket of Blood in Phillack until about 1960 and then retiring back to Marazion.

Most of the photos taken at that time were in the fields and coast of Perranuthnoe.
