Title

A view across Newlyn Harbour to the South Pier.

Description

This area near the Fradgam, Newlyn, was known as Gwavas Quay. The opening to the right now incorporates road access down to join the later harbour road (1908). Cottages still there. Around the cottages to the right leads to Wesley Place. Mount's Bay luggers are at moorings. This was a favoured vantage point in earlier times.
