View up Jack Lane, same now except for building on right is gone, now the entrance to car park. Old notice reads "JAMES GUY, SEA BOOT MAKER", one of several at the time. Build on far left was W.J. Carne the butcher, building is now a charity shop. Building central left with the two window (still there but private) was Elsie Bakers shop in the 30s, 40s and 50s.
