Title
The fore shore, Street-an-Nowan, Newlyn
Description
At low tide. Fish jousters with their donkey carts wait on the beach, now the site of the Harbour Offices. Horse and carts transporting goods to Newlyn Town would need to cross here from right to left at low tide until the Harbour Road was built in 1908. This was a regular thoroughfare as the alternative was up Paul Hill and around, not practical for horse drawn vehicles.
