Subject
The S.S Transporter of North Shields wrecked. The vessel was in ballast from St Nazaire to the Tyne. Ran ashore in thick fog. Most of her crew came ashore by breeches-buoy, but found the Penzer Cliffs so uninviting that they returned aboard and stayed there until the Lady of the Isles reflected the Transporter Later in the day.
