The Milocarian Athletics Trophy
The Milocarian was a national athletics competiton between teams from public and grammar schools. The team from Penzance County Grammar School were winners in 1948.

Interior

Location Gwavas Road, St Peter's Hill. Built 1927 at a cost 5047 GBP

The lifeboat was based at Newlyn between 1909 and 1913. In 1913 it was relocated to the new slip and boathouse at Penlee Point near Mousehole.

The Rosebud was delivering a petition about the Newlyn house clearances to Westminster. the vessel was later renamed Cynthia-Yvonne
