Postcard 145mm x 92mm. Plain back. No message or address. Engraving taken from Views in Devonshire and Cornwall by Henry Besley of Exeter published 1861. Dimensions and format of card suggest it was produced after 1899.

Tinted Pictorchrom postcard 14cm x 9cm showing four luggers leaving Penzance Harbour. No message or address on reverse. Note gas holder and tall ship in harbour. Leading lugger numbered 36 PZ. This is the reverse of the current registration system.

Location Parade Street, Penzance, the man in the doorway is Mr Proctor. As can be seen the shop had multiple usage, selling fishing tackle, cutlery and tobacco products. The premises were opened in 1903 and closed June 1973

Mr Bedford Bolitho purchased the site which later became the Bedford Bolitho gardens, formerly opened 24th May 1916.
