Rosevean Road Penzance with Roman Catholic Church in middle ground.
Roman CatholicChurch Rosevean Road Penzance. West facing. The Roman Catholic Church was built under the leadership of the priest-in-charge, an Irishman , Fr. Young, who found a site in Rosevean Road. The Church , another example of the Early Gothic Revival with a massive granite bell turret above the western gable, was opened in 1843, the architect is unknown.
The church appears never to have been completed and in 2021 S.J. Quick and sons Builders St Ives are adding a new North Aisle and bell tower which will give the church symmetry after all those years.
