The Welland was a Steel Screw Steamer built by Henry Reynolds & Co. of Oulten Broad in 1906. A fishing vessel drifter of 82ft long and 18 ft broad and a depth of 8.6 ft. It was first owned by Waveney Steam Drift Fishing Co. Ltd., Lowestoft and then in 1914 by Charles A. Hay, Lossiemouth (reg. at Inverness). It was broken up in 1929. The Sarepta was a wooden screw steamer built by John Chambers &Co. Ltd in 1906 for John Butcher of Lowestoft. A fishing vessel drifter 82.6 ft long, 19.4 ft broad and 9.3 ft depth it was owned by John Butcher until 1915 and then passed to a George Burwood of Lowestoft in 1915. Entering war service in January 1915; It was requisitioned as an anti-submarine vessel with a six pounder anti-aircraft gun and then returned to fishing in 1919. It was then broken up in 1934.
