Record observations about the condition or conservation of the item, e.g. any damage (e.g. cracked, broken or chipped glass negative).
The glass negative was remarked as "cracked" on the envelope. It was successfully removed by Tom and slid onto the lightbox where it was digitised using the Nikon D810 at 36 megapixels. On being slid back into the envelope (using card as a support) the cracked parts fell off. They have all been carefully placed into the envelope. This negative needs encapsulating.
