The Angove Collection consists of over 3000 photographic prints. Collected by Dick Angove (1917-1992), a prolific writer on all aspects of Cornish life, the collection covers industrial archaeology, farming, fishing, railways, and rural life. George DeVey with son George and grandson Simon, pictured at their winter quarters at Cullompton, Devon, in the early 1960s. Simon (centre) went on to play a leading role in the firm's (Anderton & Rowland) travelling fairs, driving the huge transporters and carrying out some of the flamboyant artistic painting which adorned the firm's equipment.
